The challenge:
Using only three colors, black and white, create an 11 x 17 inch poster for a
fictitious entertainment event.

The "Choices" poster was designed using only one shade each of red, yellow and blue with black and white for tints and shading. The wood grain coloring and effects were achieved by building up multiple layers, transparency, and gradient mesh. All of the fonts and logos were either recreated or hand drawn using Illustrator tools. The "Strat" is based on my husbands guitar and has an original Fender serial number. The "Les Paul is based on one of my nephews guitars. I was fortunate enough to have both available to study in detail.
